Termites are a big cause of damages for homes especially in those areas where people prefer to live in wood homes rather than concrete made homes. These pests are feed on wood and when your home is made of wood, it means you are living in termites food. They can attack anytime and any where. Nematode 

Nematode are actually small warms which are human friendly and can be used as a good alternate for termicide. Nematodes are also a kind of pests but these pests are not harmful to human directly. Instead of that these get pests get food from other pests so if you put some of these warms in termites nests, they can easily kill the complete nest in no time. You can purchase nematodes from market at cheaper price.


Sun Light

Termites hate direct sunlight. They always try to find places where there is no reach of direct sunlight. If termites get direct contact with sunlight for few hours, they can die. So you can also use direct sunlight as a good remedy to treat termite. If the wood structure which is got affected by termites is a movable item then its a big advantage for you. You can simply move the item in your lawn or on roof where the direct sunlight can reach and that's it. The termites will not able to bear sunlight for long time will get killed in few hours. (Note: This method may not work in winters because its not too hot in winter season)

Boric Acid

Boric acid is a common chemical which is available in different stores. This chemical is used for different things. This chemical is also a great pesticide and used to kill ants, termites and other unwanted bugs. You can simply apply mixture of boric acid and water on termite effected area and it can easily kill termites in few hours without harming pets.
